William Joseph Bakhan, aged 86, passed away on Sun, Jun 15, 2000 at Spectrum Health Downtown Campus. William was born in South Dakota and grew up in Hart, MI. He was preceded by his wife, Esther Irene in 1996, and granddaughter, Becky in 1997. He is survived by his children, Bill and Betty Bakhan of Grant, Sharon and Tony Perez of Kent City; grandchildren, Brad Bakhan, Gabe Perez, and Tony Perez; great grandsons, Kyle Slater-Bakhan and Jared Perez; brother, Joe Bakhan of Manistee; several in laws, nieces and nephews. As William had wished cremation has taken place and a Christian Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held on Tue, Jun 27, 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. Doug Carlson officiating. Interment of Cremains will take place on Thu, Jun 29 at Pierson Cemetery. Friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Mon 7 to 9pm. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Michigan Heart Association.
