Funeral services for William Linsea, who passed away Sunday morning at the Boardman Valley hospital, will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 o'clock from the Leonard Funeral home. Rev. Albert DeVoogd will officiate and interment will be in the family lot at Springfield Cemetery.
Mr. Linsea was born September 28, 1879 in Berry county, where he spent his early life. He was associated with the early lumbering camps near Houghton Lake, where he served in the capacity of logger and chief cook.
Mr. Linsea was married to Ruth Bardwell and they settled in Traverse City, where he has since lived. For 15 years he was employed by the city street department, retiring two years ago.
He leaves to mourn their loss one daughter, Mrs. R. Fisher of Lansing, and two grandchildren.
