William E. "Bill" McDonald, 65, of Mt Pleasant passed away on Sun, Dec 5, 2004, at the Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt Pleasant.
Bill was born Jun 5, 1939, in Mt Pleasant, the son of James C. McDonald and Marie M (Salchert) McDonald. Bill worked for Ferro Manufacturing and also worked as a farmer, and most recently worked as a truck driver for Beckman Trucking for the last 10 years.
He married Edna M Young on May 13, 1967, in Mt Pleasant. Bill enjoyed hunting small game and bear hunting.
Bill is survived by his wife, Edna; children, Lewis (Barbara) McDonald of Houghton Lake, Lori (Al) Swain of Round Rock, TX, and Anna McDonald and Mike Ireland of Mt Pleasant; grandchildren, Kacey, Mollee, and Sean Swain, Bobbi, Travis, and Cory McDonald; brother, Elton (Betty) McDonald, and sister, Agnes McDonald both of Mt Pleasant; and his special hunting friends.
Bill was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Doyle McDonald in 2000; and sister, Ethel McDonald in 1935.
Funeral services will be held on Fri, Dec 10, 2004, at 2pm from the Clark Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Dale Golden of the Coomer United Methodist Church officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wed, Dec 8, from 7-9 pm and on Thu, Dec 9, from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm at the Clark Funeral Chapel in Mt Pleasant.
