William E. Clapsaddle, 70, Cadillac, died Friday in Mercy Hospital after a long illness. He was a former resident of Brown City. Clapsaddle was born Dec 23, 1903, in Brown City. He married the former Charlotte Rhenwick Feb 22, 1923, in Melvin.
He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Elgy Brintall, Cadillac and Mrs. Richard Parks, Lennon; three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Blatt, Brown City; Mrs. Olive Dilsworth, Flint and Mrs. Recil Davis, Owosso and five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was a member of the East Jordan No 37 F.A.M. and a member of Mark chapter No 275, O.E.S. He was also a member of the First Church. Funeral services will be 2 pm. Monday in Carman Funeral Home. Rev. James Thomas of First Presbyterian will officiate. Burial will be in Omard Cemetery. Masonic services will be held at 8pm.
