William "Don" Brunk Jr, age 65 of Bridgeton, MO, was found passed away at his residence on Sat, Jun 15, 2019. he was born on Mon, Mar 15, 1954 in St. Louis, MO, one of five children born to William Don and Roberta Anne (nee Leahy) Brunk. Don lived his life in service to others as a police officer, firefighter, paramedic, and eventually becoming a registered nurse. Don's passions were fishing, photography, playing Santa and bringing joy to children and adults alike. Always ready with a smile and teasing joke, Don will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Don is preceded in death by his parents; survived by two sisters, Sharon (Wayne) Columbus of Toulon, IL and Diane Brunk of Lakeland, FL; two brothers, Ron (Isabella) Brunk of Lakeland, FL, and Bart (Cathy) Brunk of Nashville, TN; nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families, and his beloved beagle, Taz.
Visitation at Shepard Funeral Chapel, 9255 Natural Bridge Rd at I-170, St. Louis, MO on Tue, Jun 25 from 10 am until the Funeral Service at 12 pm. Private burial follows at Gullick Cemetery near Highland, IL.
