William A. Behanna, 93, of Route 2, Fairmont, formerly of 726 ½ Market St, Wheeling, died Wednesday at a Fairmont Nursing Home. He was a retired employee of the Beech Bottom plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary C Behanna in 1968. Surviving are four sons, William H of Wheeling, Joseph E of Fairmont, Robert L of Telluride, CO, and James L of Scotia, NY, a daughter, Thelma D of Wheeling, a brother Alec of Wellsburg, two sisters, Mrs. Clara Murray of Warwood and Mrs. Ruth Weekley of McKinleyville, WV, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. Friends received at the McCoy Funeral Home, 44 Fifteenth St, Wheeling, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday, where services will be held Saturday at 11 am. Interment in Short Creek Cemetery.
