Wayne Andrews Williams, 77, of Okemos, formerly of Kalkaska, passed away Oct 17, 2011. Wayne was born Sep 9, 1934 in Tacoma Park, MD to Emmett and Margaret Williams.
He earned his Bachelor's of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1961. He spent several years working as a social worker. His love for children prompted him to become a Kalkaska School Bus driver for 20 years.
Mr. and Mrs. Williams moved to Okemos from Nebraska in Aug of 2011.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dee; daughters, DeeAnn (Charles) Visk of CA, JuliAnn (Alan) Jordan of Russia, Wendy (Charlie) Gazon of Nebraska and Rebecca Williams of Norway; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Fri, Nov 18, at 1:30 pm at Martin Luther Chapel, East Lansing.
