Warren Stewart “Pops” McRorie, age 52, formerly of Sault Ste Marie, MI passed away early Monday morning, Jun 1, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. He was born in Sault Ste Marie, MI on Oct 23, 1956.

Warren attended Sault Area Schools. He was an artist who enjoyed beadwork and painting. He also enjoyed going to the casino and playing electronic casino games.

Warren is survived by his two sons: Steven (Melissa) McRorie and William McRorie both of Green Bay, WI; a daughter: Elizabeth Leon from Escanaba, MI; eight grandchildren: Steven, Zorin, Zoe, Zakary, Cheyenne, Andrew, Alexandra, and Caleb; his step father: Peter Shinos; brothers: Randy (Heather) McRorie of MI, Edward McRorie of MI, Raymond (Debbie) McRorie of TX, Glen McRorie of MI, Frank (Mary) McRorie of TX, Kenneth (Susan) Westbrook of IN, Warren (Norma) McRorie of MI and Charles McRorie of MI; and sisters: Bonnie (Scott) Strelecki of MI, Peggy (Bob) McKechnie of MI, Carol Farris of MI, Lois Maxwell of CO, Linda Westbrook of CO, Julie (Dennis) Dennis Day of IN, Marylou McRorie of MI, Edith Burr of FL, and Sharon (Jim) Payment of MI. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews, and special friends; Mary and Shirley.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Josephine Shinos; his father: Lawrence McRorie; and brothers: Roger and Lawrence McRorie.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 9 pm on Thu, Jun 4, 2009 at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home. There will be a time of sharing at 8 pm. Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Friday, Jun 5, 2009 at Pine Grove Cemetery with Eloise Kreml officiating.
