Wanda Jean Toole died on Sun, Jan 29, 2006, in the loving home of her daughter, Sherry. Wanda was 67 years of age.
Wanda was born in Lapeer in 1938. She married Wesley Toole on Nov 30, 1957 in Angola, IN and later moved to Kalkaska in 1969. She then moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1989 and Farmington, NM in 2000 with the goal of being closer to her daughter, Sherry, and her two grandchildren, Nikki and Bo.
After retirement in 2001, Wanda and Wesley began their journey of touring the states in their RV. Wanda thoroughly enjoyed camping and crafts but most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Wanda has touched all she has met and we have gained strength from the footprints she has left on our hearts. All who loved her will genuinely miss her.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Wesley Toole; daughter, Sherry Toole; grandchildren, Nikki Griswold and Bo Griswold; and great granddaughter, Madalyn Grisowld. She is also survived by her sisters, Ivena Marsh, Onalee Starr, and brother, Harold Conant.
Her mother, Recie Conant, and son, Randy Toole, preceded her in death.
The family plans on having a "celebration of life" gathering this June in Lapeer, where the majority of her family resides.
Wanda was taken from this world far too soon by the terrible disease of ovarian cancer.
