Wanda E. Brunett, 92 , of Fife Lake, died Tue at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center after being in failing health for several years.
Born Sep 2, 1910 in Liberty Township near Manton, she was the daughter of LeRoy and Alberta (Wallace) Foxworthy. On Jul 20, 1932, she married Gorval Brunett at St. Mary’s Hannah Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on Mar 22, 1952.
Wanda grew up in the Manton area and lived most of her life in the Fife Lake area. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Fife Lake. Her family was the most important part of her life and she loved them dearly.
Survivors include two sons, Rodney Brunett of Fife Lake, and Leslie Brunett of Sterling Heights; a daughter, Faith Gerring of Fife Lake; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Wanda was predeceased by a daughter, Elaine Heister; a son, Neil, and two brothers, Garnet and Rex.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm on Fri, May 2, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Fife Lake, with Father Patrick Maher officiating.
Visitation will be today at the church, from 4-6pm, with a wake service following.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
