Walter K. "Butch" Pierce, 53, of Kalkaska, died Tue, Nov 21, 1995, at his residence.
Mr. Pierce was born in Plymouth on May 12, 1942, to Charles and Geraldine Schroeder Pierce. He moved to Kalkaska County from Plymouth in 1972, and enjoyed fishing and crossword puzzles.
Surviving are sons Robert Webberville and Michael of Pensacola, FL; daughters Nancy Dixon of Webberville and Tammy Wright of TX; his mother Geraldine Pierce of Kalkaska; brothers Sam of Kalkaska and Charles of Fowlerville; sisters Barbara Lash of Mancelona and Beverly Slyfield of Kalkaska; and seven grandchildren.
One sister, Charlotte Pierce, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Nov 25 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Pastor James Hagler officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
