Mrs. Virginia L. Harmon, 70, of Kalkaska, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 1989 at her residence.
Mrs. Harmon moved to Kalkaska from Ortonville in 1966. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hospice of Kalkaska County, the Kalkaska Republican Party, and Friends of the Library.
Mrs. Harmon was born in Memphis, Tenn. on Jan 5, 1919, to Frank and Bertha Landolt Shawl. She was married on Oct. 1, 1953, in Clarkston to Donald Harmon who preceded her in death on Jan. 14 1986.
Surviving are one son, Dan Harmon of Kalkaska; and one daughter, Lynn Cress also of Kalkaska.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 28, 1989, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Ted Turanski, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiated. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
