Mrs. Virginia E. Adams, 71, died Thu, Feb 17, 1994, at Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, FL. 

Mrs. Adams worked as a secretary at Cherry Hill School in Inkster prior to her retirement. She moved to Kalkaska from Inkster in 1978. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends. 

Mrs. Adams was born in Detroit on Apr 24, 1922 to Alfred and Ruth Thoma Carroll. On Jun 24, 1943, in Alliance, NE, she was married to Frederick D. Adams who survives. 

Also surviving are two sons, Rick Adams of Eagle River, Alaska and Mark Adams of Pacolet, SC; two daughters, Gayle Clancy of Quincy and Marsha Lang of Kalkaska; one brother, Bernard Carroll of France; one sister, Shirley Phelan of Kalkaska; 10 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. 

One brother, Bud Carroll, preceded her in death. 

Funeral services were held Thu, Feb 24, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Charles VanLente, pastor of the Kalkaska United Methodist Church, officiated. Cremation followed funeral services.
