Viola M. Bartle, age 91 of Brown City died March 14, 2005 in Yale.
She was born June 15, 1913 in Clifford to William and Sarah Robson.
She married Oris Bentley in 1931. He died in 1939 and she married Carl Bartle in 1941.
A housewife and mother she was a member for many years of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brown City.
Viola is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Elmer) Hunt of Peck; three grandchildren, Sheryl (James) Cribbins, Darryl (Diane) Muir and Dana Muir; and four great-grandchildren; a step daughter, Dorothy Metzer; and two step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl and a daughter Eleanor Muir.
A gathering for family and friends will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City. Burial to be in Zion Cemetery in Watertown.
