Vincent A. Wroblewski, 63, a resident of Fife Lake since 1975, died Thursday, March 29, 1990, at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Wroblewski moved to Fife Lake from Plymouth, and retired in 1988, as a route salesman for Continental Baking Company. He was known as "Mr. Vince of South Boardman." He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II adn the Korean Conflict, and was a member of Fife Lake American Legion Post 219, Wyandotte V.F.W. Post 1136, and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kalkaska. He enjoyed boating and camping.
He was born in Wyandotte On August 17, 1926, to Vincent and Hedwig Narewski Wroblewski. On July 23, 1972, in Plymouth, he was married to Dorothy Perkins who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Vincent Wroblewski of Ashville, NC and Gregory Wroblewski of Southgate; one step son, Mark Perkins of Livonia; three brothers, Frank Wroblewski of Trenton, Felix Wroblewski of Redford, and Thaddeus Wroblewski of Southgate; four sisters, Elaine Hempel adn Mary Jane Webber both of Pewaukee, WI, Laura Dombrowski of Wyandotte and Regina Florsche of Detroit; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Memorial services were held Saturday, March 31, 1990, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kalkaska. Rev. Ted Turanski officiated.
