Mrs. Velma E. Warner, 95, of Mancelona died Tue, Mar 21, 1995, at her residence.
Mrs. Warner moved to Mancelona four years ago from Lansing. She was a member of the Kalkaska Seventh Day Adventist Church, and a former member of the Seventh Day Adventist Dorcas Society and assisted with the Pathfinder Group. She enjoyed reading and gardening.
Mrs. Warner was born in Temperance on Jul 17, 1899, daughter of the late James and Mary Nueman Salisbury. She was married to Jessie Warner who preceded her in death in 1963.
Surviving are daughters, Betty Collier of Mason and Frances Booth of Mancelona; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Son, Merton Cantwell and daughter, Evelyn Landis preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Fri, Mar 24, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Pastor David Stramel officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
