Pace, Valerie Sue – Age 60, of Otisille, died October 26, 2011 at Genesys Hospice in Goodrich. Valerie was born September 30, 1951 in Goodrich, the daughter of Keith and Jean Seaman. She was a member of the Otisville Church of Christ. Val served as Forest Township Supervisor since 1992 and was aboard member of Southern Links Trailway, Michigan Township Association, Tri-Village Chamber of Commerce, and many other boards and committees. Val enjoyed crafting, euchre, baking cakes, sewing, feeding, studying her Bible, and of course the hospitality of decorating and feeding friends and family.
Valerie is survived by her husband Terry; parents, Keith and Jean Seaman; children, Aira (Joe) Fornwall, Garrett (Nicole) Roberson, Sam (Jan) Pace, Paul (Kim) Pace, Ida Pace, Anna Gross; siblings, Diane Seaman, Cheryl (Mike) Clark; brother in law, James Chaffer; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandy Chaffer. Funeral service Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. from Otisville Church of Christ, Steve July officiating. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 3-9 p.m. at Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville. Interment Smith Hill Cemetery.
