Ursal M Birgy, 87, of Fife Lake, died Dec 18, 2001, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. She was born Mar 8, 1914, in Kalkaska County to George and Pearl (Priest) Nelson.
Ursal married Theodore Birgy on Mar 26, 1929.
She was a member of the St Aloysius Alter Society, DDCW, Diebert Club of Fife Lake, and a past member of the Boardman Area Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her daughter Julie (Danny) Demars of Kalkaska; grandchildren Jeff and Samantha; great grandchild Shaylynn; and brother in law Derwood Birgy of Fife Lake.
Visitation was Dec 20 with a Rosary at Wolfe Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Dec 21 at St Aloysius Catholic Church in Fife Lake. Interment was at St Aloysius Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in behalf of Ursal Birgy to St Aloysius Catholic Church in Fife Lake or Boardman Senior Citizens.
