Thomas R. Wood, 60, of Fife Lake, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2008. He was born on June 19, 1947 in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Dennis and Jean (Denny) Wood. Thomas was a veteran serving his country during the Vietnam War in the US Army and then for approximately 10 years in the Army National Guard. He married Beverly J Pifer on March 22, 1985 in Marion, Michigan.
Thomas worked as a production manager in a local oilfield. He enjoyed antiques, fishing, and hunting. Thomas is survived by his wife of 23 years, Beverly; children, Keith L. Mosher and Angel J. Nolff, both of Fife Lake; grandchildren, Jasline Nolff, Cheyenne Boggs, and Hunter Boggs, all of Fife Lake ; siblings, Laura (John) Orabeck of CA, David (Dorette) Wood of OH, and Kathy (Rich) Bailey of Kalamazoo. He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 24th at 12:00 p.m. at Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Bryan McInerney of Kalkaska Church of the Nazarene will be officiating.
