Thomas C. Kirtley, 61, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Nov 1, 1993 at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Kirtley moved to Kalkaska from Ypsilanti in 1974. He was a self employed auto-body repairman. He enjoyed the outdoors and mushroom hunting.
He was born on May 4, 1932, in Cherry Tree, PA, to Thomas and Mary Ellen Cooper Kirtley. On Aug 22, 1959, in Ypsilanti, he married Ann M. Vercruysse, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Andrea (Dan) Herman and Mary Karin (Sam) Deeds, both of Kalkaska, Margaret (Steve) Kirtley-Sternberg of West Lafayette, IN, and Regina Kirtley of Urbana, IL; two brothers, Sam Kirtley of Westland and Leroy Kirtley of Hartland; one sister, Josephine LaLonde of Kalkaska; four grandchildren, Christyn and Damon Herman, Robert Thomas Deeds, and Joseph Sternberg, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thu, Nov 4, 1993j at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Father Patrick Barrett officiated. Cremation will follow.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Grass River Natural Area or to the CFCS Catholic Charities.
