Thomas A. Flower, 38, passed away on Jan 1, 2004, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City after a lifelong battle with juvenile diabetes.
He was born Jun 18, 1965, in Alma, the son of Paul T. and Shirley E. (Antes) Flower.
Thomas was an artist and enjoyed great music. His collection of CDs numbered over 3,000. He was a resident of Kalkaska since 1971, having previously lived in Alma. Thomas was a member of Grace Community Church of Central Lake. He donated many hours in the Tamarack Program of Rapid City.
Thomas is survived by his mother, Shirley of Kalkaska; brother, Paul T (Lori) Flower II of Colorado Springs, CO; nieces and nephews, Brandy, Paul T III, Heather, Thomas, and James; and his Great Dane, BlackJack.
Preceding Thomas in death was his father, Paul, in Oct 1975.
A memorial service was Mon, Jan 5, at People's Church in Kalkaska with the Rev. Claude Rowley Jr officiating.
