Theodore "Ted" Simon Sr, 78, of Kalkaska died on Sat, Nov 25, 2006, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
The beloved companion of Nora Strohmier for over 20 years; the beloved father of Theodore Simon Jr of VA, Vivian Kline and family, William Simon and David Simon and family all of Mancelona; Bev (James) Stoddard of Grayling, Lisa (Stacey) Licking of FL, Rosa (Jerry) Brown of Ionia, Charles L Strohmier II of TX, Charlene (Karl) Thompson of TN, Janeine "Jake" (Robert Alberts) Delecki of Kalkaska; the loved grandfather of 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Ted was born on Feb 27, 1928, in Bay City, the son of the late John and Debora (Ferris) Simon.
Ted was a resident of Kalkaska since 1970, and loved helping anyone in the community. He helped many widows on repair projects for their homes. Ted enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Ted was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother, and one granddaughter.
The funeral will be Wed, Nov 29, at 1 pm with visitation from 11 until the time of service at the funeral home, Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery
