Steven D. Waltz, 27, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Sep 30, 1993, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Antrim County.
Steven was a 1984 graduate of Kalkaska High School, and had been a lifelong resident of the Kalkaska area. At the time of his death, he was employed by Sub Surface Construction as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Born in Traverse City on Sep 20, 1966, he was the son of Edward and Mary Ellen Fitzgerald Waltz. On Jun 23, 1990, in Kalkaska, he was married to Michele Beltinck who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his parents of Kalkaska; two brothers, Michael and Jonathan Waltz both of Kalkaska; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Sat, Oct 2, 1993, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Father Patrick J. Barrett officiated.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
