Steve Chalker died at the age of 52 at the sweet Home Friday Home, a Care Center. He dedicated his career to Recycling Coordinator for Northern A-1 Services, Solid Waste Management Coordinator for the Ingham County Health Department, Recycling Coordinator for the City of Lansing, General Manager of the Michigan Division of Vintage Tech Recyclers, and Director of the Material Recovery Facility for the Isabella County. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He was an Avid Fan of the Michigan State Spartan Athletics. He was preceded in death by his parents Norma Jean (Wilson) Chalker and Lewis R. Chalker Sr. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Margarete (Sutter) Chalker of Laingsburg, MI, his daughter, Katie Chalker of Laingsburg, MI, two sisters, Janice Grider of Zion, IL and Kathie Kolakowski of Indian River, MI, and a brother, Lewis Chalker of Buckley, MI.
