Silvester Silvestri, 83, of Kalkaska, died Sunday, November 11, 1990, at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Silvestri resided in Troy and Phoenix, Ariz., until moving to Kalkaska. He was an officer of American Italian Clubs of Arizona and a life member of Clawson-Troy Elks Lodge 2169.
He was born in San Vito Lo Capo, Sicily on Feb. 2, 1907, to Vito and Vita Sugameli Silvestro. On Dec 21, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio, he was married to Jessie Pepponi who preceded him in death on July 25, 1986.
Surviving are two daughters, Jacqueline Sinacola of Byron, and Vida Ascione of Kalkaska; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov 14, 1990 at the Price Funeral Home in Troy. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
