Shirley J Bullard, 76, of Kalkaska passed away suddenly on Nov 18, 2004, at her home. She was born on Nov 6, 1928, in Muskegon Heights, the daughter of Virgil and Edith (Flaherty) Blackard.
Shirley married Jack Bullard on Apr 17, 1949, in Traverse City. She was a resident of Kalkaska the past 11 years. Shirley enjoyed playing bingo, watching Tiger Woods play golf, knitting, and the Senior Haven group. She loved her family immensely and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her children, Roger Groneveld of Colorado, Jack Bullard of Elk Rapids, Donald Bulalrd of Kingsley, and Cheryl Bullard of Fife Lake; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; a brother, Ted Blackard of Colorado; and sister, Delores Pike of Florida.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; sister, Mary Lou Blackard; and borhter, Donald Blackard.
The funeral service was held on Nov 22 at the Wolfe Funeral Home, with Dan Johnson of the Kalkaska Church of Christ officiating. Interment was at Evergreen Cemetery in Kingsley.
