Sherrie Elaine Holcombe, age 56, of Florence, Ala., died Monday, March 21, 2011. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 24, in the funeral home chapel, with Barrett Long officiating. Interment will be at Williams Chapel Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Alvin Holcombe; grandparents, Raymond and Belma Allison, Roy and Clara Young; father, Harve Horrison Allison; sister, Rhonda Hensley; and brother-in-law, Ralph Hensley. Survivors include her mother, Tempie Volun Allison; sons, Eric Holcombe of Ramer, Tenn., Richard and wife, Gina Holcombe, of Madison, Ala.; sisters, Barbara and husband, James Borden of Collinwood, Tenn., Cindy Pigg and husband Jerry of Collinwood, Tenn., Angie and husband, Alton Brooks of Tuscumbia, Amanda and husband, Rusty Nash of Waterloo, Tammy Allison of Florence; brother, Timothy Allison, of Waterloo, Shane and wife, Gail Allison, of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Eli, Reece, and Ryland Holcombe.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Pigg, Rusty Nash, Chris Holcombe, CB Adams, Chris Pigg and Gregg Scott.
