Sam, first born son of Emmett and Mable Neihardt and grandson of Dr. Samuel E Neihardt of South Boardman, MI, passed away peacefully at his home in San Diego, CA on Jun 16, 2009. Sam was 86 years old.
He is survived by his children, Sam, Carol, Beverly, and Virginia, his grandchildren, Katherine, Stephanie, and Alexander, and siblings, Joan Kennedy, Richard Neihardt, Gretchen Peck, Fred Neihardt, and Glenn Neihardt.
Sam was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary, his daughter, Nancy, and siblings, Carroll, Barbara, and Jean.
A celebration of his life is scheduled for Sat, Jul 25th, 11 am at Garfield Township Hall.
