Ruth Hyatt, aged 84, of Grand Rapids passed away Sept 19, 1997. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1994. Surviving are her step children, Vern Hyatt, Jane Heller, Tom and Patti Hyatt, Chris and Frank Meli and Michal and Rae Anne Hyatt; eight grandchildren and one great grandson; brothers and sisters in law, Don and Iva, L.D. and Kay, Max and Edna, and Leo and Evelyn Zimmerman; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Mon at 1pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sun 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated. The family is being served by Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Service Cascade Rd. SE at Kenmoor.
