Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Taylor, 56, of 1651 Pine Drive, Traverse City, died this morning at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital after a short illness.
She is survived by her husband, Harold G. Taylor of Traverse City; one son, Harold W. of Baton Rouge, LA; one daughter, Conn Netz, Detroit; one brother, Ernest Purkiss, Traverse City; three sisters, Mrs. John (Cathryn) Hawkins, Grawn; Mrs. Glenn (Maud) Andersen, Muskegon; and Louise Dalzeli, Detroit; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and three brothers. She was born March 18, 1918 in Northport to Henry and Maud Purkiss. Ruth Purkiss was married March 27, 1940 in Traverse City to Harold G. Taylor.
