Ruth Marie Crawford, 77, of Kalkaska, passed away Dec 6, 2009, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
She was born Nov 15, 1932, in Saginaw; the daughter of the late William and Mary (Fries) Gary.
Ruth married Bruce Crawford on Jun 26, 1953, in Bay City. She graduated from the Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary and Bible Institute.
Surviving Ruth is her husband of 56 years, Bruce, and her children; Elaine Johnson and Lynda (Shane) Powell, both of Abilene, TX, and Denise (Dave) Hannon and Gwen(Ken) Allen both of Kalkaska.
She is additionally survived by her grandchildren, Christina, Ron, Jenny, David, Elizabeth, Duane, and Kayla; great grandsons, Corbin and a second one due any day; siblings, William gary of Freeland and Arlene Richards of St Petersburg, FL.
Visitation was Wed, Dec 9, from 6 to 9 pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. The funeral was Thu at 11 am at the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Matt Moser officiating.
Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
