Russell L. Driggett, 48, a lifelong resident of the Rapid City and Alden area, died Friday, Jan. 19, 1990, at Amarillo, TX.
Mr. Driggett was a graduate of Rapid City High School and attended Northwestern Michigan College. He was employed in the road and building construction trades.
He was born in Kalkaska County on Jan. 24, 1941, to Russell and Kathryn Underhill Driggett.
Surviving are one son, James Driggett of Dearborn Heights; two daughters, Vicky McCollum of Westland, and Christina Driggett of Stoneville, NC; his mother, Kathryn Driggett of Rapid City ; one brother, Charles Driggett fo Rapid City; five sisters, Helen Buchan and Jacquelynn Hulett both of Traverse City, Dianna Seeley and Betty Perrin both of Kalkaska, and Mona Saunders of Rapid City; his maternal grandfather, George Underhill of Rapid City; three grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, George Driggett.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 23, 1990, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Jerry Leazenby, pastor of the Rapid City Church of Christ, officiated. Burial will be in Clearwater Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
