Russell F Krupski, 74, of Kalkaska, passed away on Wed, Jan 23, 2008 at his home.
He was born in Garden City, MI on Jan 24, 1933, to the late Fredrick and Helen (Heft) Krupski. Russell married Maurine Hipner in Garden City on Feb 4, 1956.
Russell was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. He retired from the City of Wayne's Department of Public Works in 1981. In 1982, he and Maurine moved to Kalkaska. Russell was a member of the Bear Lake Christian Church. He enjoyed gardening and collecting things.
Russell is survived by his children, Kathleen George of Kalkaska, Mark (Diane) Krupski of Kalkaska, Bryan (Becky) Krupski of Kalkaska, Karen Krupski of Fenton, and Pam Stottelmyer of Kalkaska; his siter Lois Sweeny of Garden City; 11 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Preceding Russell in death, was his wife of 48 years, Maurine; and his siblings, David, Virginia, Paul and Dorothy.
A memorial service was held on Sat, Jan 26 at 1 pm at the Bear Lake Christian Church with Pastor David Rosenberg.
