Roy Blatt, 74, of 5085, a Flynn Township farmer, died Friday in Marlette Community Hospital after a long illness. He was born Apr 5, 1900, in Flynn Township. He married the former Miss Beatrice Clapsaddle Oct 5, 1921, in Melvin. Blatt farmed and worked at Fisher Body, Flint. He resided in Flynn Township since 1938. He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Grant, Flint; three sons, William, Leon, and Keith Blatt, all of Brown City; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gilbert Banks, Brown City; and two brothers, Murray Blatt Brown City, and Christopher A. Blatt, Goodells. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday in Carman Funeral Home, Brown City. Rev. Allen Lewis, pastor of Omard United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Omard Cemetery. Remains are in the funeral home.
