Rose Bean, 68, of Owosso died Sun, may 2, 1993 at her home.
Mrs. Bean spent many summers in Kalkaska. She was a resident of Owosso most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Memorial Healthcare Center Auxiliary, Owosso Country Club and several bridge clubs. Mrs. bean worked in admissions at Memorial Hospital and also worked for a local physician for several years.
She was born Mar 8, 1925 in Lansing to Rudolph L and Catherine (Keller) Parisian. She was married May 5, 1943 in Owosso to James H. Bean who survives.
Besides her husband she is survived by her four daughters: Mrs. Ken (Tam) Hagan of Owosso, Connie Hall of Bradenton, FL, Mrs. Teddy (Shelley) Nieman of Alden, Mrs. Brian (Lisa) Ward of Webster Groves, MO; two sons: Jack Bean of Lansing and Dave (Sue ) Bean of St. Joseph; three sisters, Catherine Hornus of Okemos, Mary George of Haslett and Barbara Parisian of East Lansing; 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at St. Paul Catholic Church on Wed, May 5. Rev. Fr. Robert D. Kolenski officiated. Burial was in St. Paul Cemetery. Rosary was said at Jennings-Lyons Chapel on Tues. evening.
Memorial contributions may be given to Friends of Hospice. Funeral arrangements were made by Jennings-Lyons Funeral Chapel in Owosso.
