Rose Marie "Shorty" Clark, of Rapid City, died Mon, Aug 8, 1994 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mrs. Clark had been a resident of Rapid City since 1968, after moving from Holly. She was a member of the Rapid City Church of Christ, and she enjoyed her dog Snoopy.
She was born on Sep 3, 1919, in Columbus, OH, to Frank and Charlotte Helwig Hilscher. On Apr 23, 1949, in Kalkaska, she married Charles E. Clark, who preceded her in death on Jul 2, 1982.
Surviving are two sons, Robert W. Short, Jr. of Tustin, CA and Richard Parsons of Detroit; one daughter, Nancy Whitmyer of Westville, IN; two stepsons; three stepdaughters; one brother, William Hilscher of Columbus, OH; two sisters, Charlotte Fry and Rowena Hall, both of Columbus, OH; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thu, Aug 11, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Jerry Rupe, minister of the Rapid City Church of Christ officiated.
Burial was in Densmore Cemetery, Antrim County.
