Rose M Lounsbery, 94, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Nov 23, 2000, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Lounsbery was born in Isabella County Nov 27, 1905, to Joseph and Mary Gross Endres. She married Howard Lounsbery in Flint Nov 10, 1924. He preceded her in death Mar 28, 1980.
Mrs. Lounsbery had been a resident of Kalkaska County since 1940, and was a member of St Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, the Boardman Area Senior Citizens Club and the Kalkaska County Commission on Aging. She enjoyed playing bingo, berry picking, crocheting and reading.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were sisters Dorie Endres, Katherine Endres, Helen Endres, Elizabeth Toops, Christine Keller, Irene Schutt and Lucille Rigby; and brothers Willie Endres, Frank Endres and Raymond Endres.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Nov 27 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church with Fr. Jim Holtz as celebrant. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
