Rosa Lee Holmes, 75, of Traverse City, died Fri, Jul 14, 2000, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mrs. Holmes had lived in Roseville, Rapid City and Vallego, CA, before recently returning to Traverse City. She was a member of Greater Life Apostolic Church in Traverse City.
She was born in Carrolton, AR, on Aug 5, 1924, the daughter of Luther and Delphia Barr Watson. she married Harold Holmes in Benicia, CA, on Dec 4, 1964. He died on Jan 7, 1988.
Surviving are son Leslie (Paula) Holmes of East Pointe; brother Samuel (Regina) Watson of Vellejo, CA, seven grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Six siblings preceded her in death.
Funeral services were Jul 18 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Rev. Kevin Willis officiated. Burial was in Clearwater Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
