Ronald D. Pataky, 34, of Rapid City, died Sat, Apr 9, 1994, at his residence.
Mr. Pataky had resided in West Branch prior to moving to the Kalkaska area in 1972. Following his graduation from Kalkaska High School in 1978, he served for four years in the U.S. Navy. He had been employed as a maintenance man at the Matheson Greens Golf Course in Suttons Bay and Sherwood Management in Northport. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and music.
Mr. Pataky was born in West Branch on Nov 25, 1959, to Ralph and Florence Finerty Pataky.
Surviving are his parents of Manistique; one brother, David Pataky of Kalkaska; two sisters, Karen Laing of Kalkaska and Diane Hansen of Manistique; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
One brother, Arnold Patrick Pataky, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Mon, Apr 11, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Jerry Rupe, pastor of the Rapid City Church of Christ officiated. Cremation followed services.
