Ronald Carl Jeffers, 94, of Chester, VA, passed away on Mon, Jul 31, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Vance Jeffers and Lula Coral Tucker Jeffers; as well as his brother, Frank Jeffers. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Marie Jeffers; children, Roger Carl Jeffers, Linda Anne Watts and husband James, Alan Bradley Jeffers and wife, Gerry Lee Jeffers, Pamela Jeffers, Ronald Carl Jeffers Jr, and wife Julie, and Raymond Clouthier; grandchildren, Mark Jeffers, Eric Jeffers, Heather Mackey, Michelle Brown, Debbie Middendorf, and Dale Jeffers; great grandchildren, Jessica Jeffers, and Khara Brown.
He was a US Army Veteran serving during WWII in the European Theater. He was a faithful member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Thu, Aug 3, 2017, at the Chester Chapel of JT Morris & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Fri, Aug 4, 2017, at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of Mr. Jeffers to the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
