Roger J. (Pierre) Marois, a retired plumber, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 1991 at home in Bradenton Beach, Fla, after a lengthy illness. He is formerly from Rapid City and moved to Florida in 1967.
Mr. Marois was an accordion player with the Suncoast Mummer's Spring Band of Bradenton; a lifelong member of the Moose Lodge and also an Eagle's Club member.
He is survived by his special friend, Harriet Bielhart of Bradenton Beach; his six children: Diana Martin of Kalkaska; Cheryl (Mrs. Ralph) Peck of Rapid City; Antoinette (Mrs. Jacob) Watrous of Santa Rosa, Texas; Michael of Traverse City; Russell of Kalkaska; and MiMi (Mrs. Bradley) Gribi of Kewadin; his mother, Jeanne Parker of Atlanta, Mich; five brothers, Raymond, Daniel, and David, all of Traverse City; Gaston of Phoenix, Ariz., and Richard of Atlanta; 12 grandchildren, five grat grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a stepmother, A. Virginia (Mrs. Leonard) Lick of Williamsburg.
Arrangements have been made through National Cremation Society of Florida. Memorials can be directed to any Hospice organization.
