Roger Eugene Anderson, 84, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center - Long Term Care. Mr. Anderson was born on March 26, 1930 in Sheridan, Michigan, to the late Frank and Mernice (Hicks) Anderson. Roger is survived by his wife Phyllis; daughter Lynn (Delano) Kreger; son Christopher (Cyndi) Anderson; step son Jay Rutz; grandchildren Allison (Quinn) Butters, Shawn Anderson, and Brooke (Craig) Wilson; and great grandchildren Parker, Hannah, and Kinsley. He was preceded in death by his parents and his step daughter Beth Rutz. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Cornerstone Community Bible Church, 6821 County Road 612, Kalkaska. A second memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the North Parma United Methodist Church in Parma, MI. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kalkaska Memorial Health Center - Eden Center or Cornerstone Community Bible Church. Arrangements were entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home of Albion.
