Mrs. Roberta L. Clark, 56, a lifelong resident of Kalkaska, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 1990 at Munson Medical Center.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and enjoyed sewing, camping, and nature.
Mrs. Clark was born in Kalkaska on Dec 28, 1933, to Elger and Thelma Cross Brooks. On March 7, 1953, in Kalkaska, she was united in marriage with Charles L. Clark who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by seven daughters, Thelma Caldwell of Berrien Springs, Pamela Clark of Cadillac, Karen Leatherman of Traverse City, Carla Ledermann of Wixom, Debra Mortimer of Grand Blanc, Rona Hershberger of Central Lake, and Julie Clark of South Boardman; her mother, Thelma Brooks of Traverse City; two brothers, Elger Brooks, Jr of Manton, and Forest Devere Brooks of Kalkaska; one sister, E. Patricia Newman of Tustin; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov 24, 1990, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Pastor Arthur Myers officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
