Robert "Buck" Shaw, 59, of Grand Blanc, died Fri, Dec 8, 2000, at Blue Lake in Kalkaska County.
Mr. Shaw was born Oct 6, 1941 in Teaneck, NJ. He was a resident of Grand Blanc and the Flint area for most of his life.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was very active in the Michigan Snowmobile Association. He was employed by General Motors AC Spark Plug Division for 30 years and was president of Local Union Number 651 from 19841990, retiring in August of 1994. He was a dedicated husband, dad, and papa.
Surviving are his wife Mary; daughter Sherri (Gene) Lampe of Swartz Creek; son Patrick (Linda) of Grand Blanc; grandchildren Shane, Tara, Garrett, and Eric; sisters, Gerry (Raymond) Lash of Greensburg, PA, Linda (Stephen) Tesler of Flint, and Colleen (George) Decker of San Diego, CA; brother Michael (Cheri) Shaw of Flushing; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A scripture service was Dec 12 at Swartz Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was celebrated Dec 13 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
