Robert O. Cooper, 77, of Fife Lake, died Sat, Apr 24, 1999, at his home. 

Mr. Cooper resided in Berkley until moving to Fife Lake in 1984. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a technician for Massey-Ferguson Company. He served with the U.S. Army during WWII, and was a life member of Land O'Lakes VFW Post 8684 and the American Legion. He enjoyed garage sales. 

Born in Akron, OH, on Jun 18, 1921, he was the son of Grover and Edith Aber Cooper. 

Surviving are son David Cooper of Clawson; brother Grover Cooper of Bloomfield Hills; and grandsons Gregg, Jeffrey, and Phillip Cooper.

Sister Ruth and brother Donald preceded him in death. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wed, Apr 28, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; E. Dan Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery, Kalkaska County. 

Military rites will be under the auspices of Land O'Lakes VFW Post 8684.
