Robert N. Ramsey, 79, a Christmas tree farmer, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 1989 at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital.
A Fife Lake resident most of his life, he was a former Civilian Conservation Corps member.
The son of Clinton and Elnora (Peterson) Ramsey, he was born April 14, 1910, in Kalkaska, and married June 16, 1935, in Traverse City, to Esther Donick, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Patricia) Ingersoll of Fife Lake and Mrs. Walter (Jean) Hutchinson of Lake City; a sister, Lillian Bassett of Howard City; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Roy, Howard, and Jim Ramsey.
Cremation has taken place. No service are planned at this time.
Arrangements were made by the Traverse City Chapel of the Covell Funeral Homes.
