Robert J. Grant of Flushing, age 80, died Sat, Nov 12, 2005 at home. Cremation has taken place. Robert was born in Stanley, NY on Jun 18, 1925, the son of William and Ethel (Johnston) Grant. He married Janette M. Blatt on Jan 14, 1956. She preceded him in death Jul 1, 2003. Robert retired in 1989 from Production Process Company, the company he founded in 1975. He graduated from U of M and General Motors Institute. He was a life member of both the Society of Automotive Engineers and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Robert was a member of the Elks #222 for 33 years and a member of the Efficiency Invitational Golf League for 55 years. Surviving are: brother William and wife Margaret Grant of FL; sister, Gene Mazzara of NY; brothers in law and sisters in law, Leon and Erdine Blatt of Brown City, Keith and Isabell Blatt of Port Huron; sister in law Phyllis Blatt of Brown City; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers in law William Blatt and Buddy Mazzara.
