Robert J. Carll, 54, a native of Hartford City, died Thursday at the Waldo House, a nursing home here, where he had been a patient since Oct 8. He was formerly engaged in the plumbing business here.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 am Saturday at St. John’s Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the IOOF Cemetery. Members of St. John’s parish will meet at the Baxter-Markin-Richman Chapel at 8 pm. Friday to pray the rosary.
Mr. Carll is survived by his mother, Mrs. R.S. Carll, city; a daughter, Mrs. William Bowman, city; three sons, Leo E, this city, Charles of Upland, and Robert E. Carll RR 4; two sisters, Miss Mary Carll, city, and Mrs. Cedric Sample, Mishawaka, and three brothers, James Joseph, city, Majel Carll, Upland, and Paul, Decatur. His wife, Effie died two years ago.
