Robert F Goulette, 78, of Kalkaska, passed away Tue, Jan 29, 2002, at St Marys, OH.
He was born Nov 1, 1923, in Detroit, the son of Harry and Marguerite Goulette.
Robert graduated from Pershing High School in Detroit. He was a proud veteran of the US Army serving in WWII in the Pacific. He married June Lee Phillips on Jan 16, 1971 in Detroit. Robert was a mechanic for the city of Detroit until he retired and moved to Kalkaska in 1976. He was a member of the VFW Post 8684, Beebe Sherwood Post 480 of the American Legion, Kalkaska Moose Lodge and Grayling Eagles Club.
Robert is survived by his loving family, including wife, June of 31 years; children Terrence W Goulette of San Francisco, Roberta and Jim O'Neill of Redford Township, Patricia K and Christopher Hynes of Livonia and John M Goulette of Redford Township; brothers George and Helen Goulette of FL and Robert and Charlotte Bolton of IN and sister Shirley Hodgdon of St Helen; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation was Feb 1 at the Wolfe Funeral Home. The funeral service was conducted at the funeral home Feb 2; Rev. Paul Karges of the Peoples Church officiated. Interment was at Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
