Robert D Spurlock, age 58, of Middletown, OH, passed away Thu, My 21, 2020 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, where he had been a patient for two days. He was born Sep 29, 1961 in Hamilton and lived in the Miami Valley most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during the Grenada Conflict. He was employed as a supervisor in the corrugated industry.
Robert was a member of the American Legion Post 218 where he formerly served as the chaplain, a member of the D.A.V. Chapter 131 and a member of the V.F.W. Post 3809. Preceding him in death was his mother, Judith Laverne Morrison Spurlock; and a daughter, Robyn Janette Spurlock. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Janelle Spurlock; one son, Robert D Spurlock IV; one granddaughter, Madisyn Spurlock; his father, Robert D Spurlock, Jr. and wife Patricia; one brother Brian “Andy” Spurlock; and many extended family and friends. A Memorial Service for Robert will be held at a later date. His final resting place will be at the Dayton National Cemetery, with Army Honor Guard Services.
